Classic Oak is built on the original Ludwig, cross-over, Oak shell formula that has captivated professionals for the last decade. Our exclusive design blends Oak and Maple to produce a rich tone that is balanced, focused, and loud. It features a 5-ply shell consisting of a 3-ply maple core with 1-ply oak outer and 1-ply oak inner, providing a robust, powerful tone. A versatile balance of fatness and sensitivity, with the oak lending a distinctive high-end cut and increased volume over traditional maple snares. With exciting new finishes and more configuration options, Classic Oak joins its counterpart, Classic Maple, as a powerful, dynamic and loud kit. Included are a 16x22 bass drum with Elite spurs and no mount, 7x10 and 8x12 mounted toms each with Atlas mounts and its own PM0048 Single Tom Arm Clamp, and a 16x16 floor tom with Atlas mounts and three legs (all sizes are depth x diameter in inches).
